Place the ingredients into your bread pan in the order listed. When adding the yeast, make a small well in your flour to ensure the proper reacting time. Use the dough cycle, and punch down the dough when the cycle completes.
For your teddy bear:
Divide your dough in half. Use one half for the body, and cut the second half into two equal pieces.
Use one half of the dough for your bears head, and divide the remaining portion into 7 similar pieces. Two for the arms, two for the legs, two for the ears, and one for the nose.
Cover your bear with a clean towel and let it rise until it has doubled in size.
When your bear has doubled, carefully cut slits for the eyes, nose, and belly button with scissors and insert your raisins.
Make your egg wash using one beaten egg and one tbsp cold water. Brush your entire bear with the egg wash.
Bake your bear at 375F for 30-35mins (until it sounds hollow when tapped). I baked my bear on a cookie sheet lined with a silpat, If you do not have a silpat, parchment paper can be used or your baking pan can be greased very very well to avoid it sticking to your pan. Cool on a wire rack. When your bear is cool, decorate it by tying a ribbon around it's neck. (Next time I will take my bear out a few minutes earlier as it came out a little darker than i had hoped)
