Sensory play is a great way for babies and children both to learn and to further develop all of their senses. Children begin using sensory input from birth. Allowing children to explore using their senses by grabbing, smelling, listening, rubbing, staring, and licking will help them better understand the world around them.
During sensory play, we were able to use our senses by listening to stories and looking at the pictures.
Story Time and Sensory Play is included in our 20+ events that we have each month. A momstown Niagara membership is only $45/year for the whole family and includes great events like these all year long! Your membership will also include a one year subscription to Today’s Parent!
