Victoria Day 2015 Fun in Niagara Region

May 12, 2015momstownFamily LifeNo comments
The May long weekend is often thought of as the kick-off to summer. These are some great ways to spend it with your family!

Virgil Stampede – Virgil Sports Park – 1565 Four Mile Creek Road, Virgil

Sat. May 16: 9:30am – 11:00pm
Sun. May 17: 11:00am – 11:00pm
Mon. May 18: 9:30am – 11:00pm

More than 40 years ago, a group of neighbours in Virgil got together to organize fireworks for Victoria Day, as still occurs today in many neighbourhoods. But these families went on step further, providing pony rides for the kids. That celebration on the grounds of the Virgil Public School grew to what has become the Virgil Stampede, with something new added each year — this year, better than ever.

Fireworks are at 9:30 pm on Monday Night

The best views are in Queen Victoria Park overlooking Niagara Falls. Please note: all dates are subject to change and dependent upon weather and wind conditions
