Mumford & Sons Coming to Niagara-on-the-Lake

April 14, 2015momstownFamily LifeNo comments
Great Band. Amazing Venue. It is sure to be the event of the summer in Niagara

We have seen some pretty big names come to Niagara-on-the-Lake over the last few years.  I haven’t missed a single one and I am certainly not going to miss this show.

Unlike the previous concerts held on long weekends, this show will be on a Monday night.  The hope is that the concert won't overcrowd our already busy weekend tourism scene.

The Commons at Butler’s Barracks was the venue for The Tragically Hip in 2012 and Dallas Green in 2013.  Both were incredible shows and created a massive buzz all over the Niagara region.  Having such huge concerts at this location has been a work in progress over the last few years and vast improvements have come with each event.  After ironing out all of the kinks from the past events, Mumford & Sons is expected to attract about 25 000 people.

Tickets go on sale Friday morning at 10 am at www.ticketmaster.ca or 1-855-985-5000 for about $70.  This is the only Ontario stop on this tour and one of only four shows in all of Canada.  You are going to want to be at your computer or by the phone right at 10 am if you don’t want to miss out!

I will update this blog with contest details and more information as it is released
